Costco is expected to increase their membership fee ‘sooner or later’ with many expecting the increase early next year.
The last time Costco increased their membership was in 2017, where they only increased the cost from $55 to $60 for their most popular “Gold Star” membership. While Richard Galanti (Costco’s Chief Financial Officer) said that an increase was “a question of when, not if”, he has since said that no final decision has been made about when it would take place.
